Povertystuck is an AU (alternative universe) comic based on Andrew Hussie’s Homestuck on mspaintadventures.com.
Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old orphans John Egbert and Dave Strider love to hunt for treasure. It’s really one of the only fun things to do during the present-day depression caused by a war that’s lasted for the past ten years and appears to have no chance of ending anytime soon. Even though the streets are dangerous and gang infested, John and Dave insist on leaving to look for abandoned goods nearly every evening.
One evening, during one of their usual “treasure hunts”, they spot an unidentifiable object as it crashes to Earth. Shenanigans ensue.
